šŸŒŸ Reflecting on the First Time Experience šŸŒŸI had the honor of participating as a panelist at Total Rewards Asia Summit on 25 July 2024. It was an amazing opportunity to discuss *Rewriting the Prescription for Rewards* with such a distinguished group of professionals.A heartfelt thank you to Human Resources Online and the team at HRO Sabarish P and Aditi Sharma Kalra. The insights shared and connections made were truly invaluable. I learned a lot from my fellow panelists and the engaging audience.A special shoutout to my GCHRO Mui Sim Tan, who made time out of her busy schedule to attend and support me during my session. It's wonderful to have someone to turn to whenever I'm facing a challenge outside my comfort zone.     As HR practitioners, we need to equip and train our people managers, as they can bring the greatest impact on their teams. People managers can positively influence their teams by:1. Leading by example (demonstrating healthy habits such as taking breaks between meetings and managing stress effectively).2. Creating a supportive environment (encouraging open communication, making it a safe space for team members to talk about mental health or other concerns).3. Integrating wellness into the work routine (encouraging short breaks to move around/stretch, holding walking/standing meetings, and avoiding meetings during lunch breaks or outside standard working hours).People managers can create a culture that prioritises and supports preventive healthcare and wellness, leading to healthier, more engaged, and productive employees. While HR can only do so much, we can partner with people managers to build a healthier workforce together.#TRAS2024 #TotalRewardsMY
